Flush Stair Nose: Also known as Bullnose, the Flush Stair Nose is used to finish and trim the wood, laminate, or vinyl between the riser and the tread on the outside corner of a stair or step down. This coordinating piece ensures a smooth transition for all the hardwood steps in your home. Moldings and trims are color-matched to your new vinyl floor, providing a professional, elegant finish by connecting areas of flooring with other surfaces. Stair Nosing is ideal for step-downs, stair landings, balconies, or as a substitute for stair treads.
These moldings are vinyl-wrapped with a waterproof plastic core. Measuring 2.07″ on the top and 0.75″ on the overhang, and 94″ in length, they easily snap into the included plastic strip. The flush stair nose molding rounds over the edge of each step and sits flush with the flooring, creating a seamless look from step to step.
